Engineering Technology is looking for a student to support the IIOT and Cyber Labs in the new JCPI building. These are exciting opportunities for a student with a technology background to have "hands-on" involvement with setting up, tuning, and managing the innovative technologies in these two labs. The student will have the opportunity to bring their technical knowledge and expertise to these labs to develop and grow the technology and application of the technology to IIOT and Cyber curriculum and projects.

Engineering Technology is looking for an approved Coop student to support the Cyber Labin the new JCPI building. These are exciting opportunities for students with technology backgrounds to have "hands-on" involvement with setting up, tuning, and managing the innovative technologies in these two labs. The students will have the opportunity to bring their technical knowledge and expertise to these labs to develop and grow the technology and application of the technology to IIOT and Cyber curriculum and projects.

The Accounting Assistant will provide administrative support to the Accounting department, working closely with the Accounting Administrator and Senior Payroll Administrator. This is a great opportunity for a student in a program related to Finance or Accounting to gain exposure and learn the basics of how an accounting department functions.

The Accounting Services Assistant is responsible for assisting Accounting Services staff. The position requires accounting and business knowledge and computer literacy as a wide variety of software is used. A very strong focus on Excel advanced functions.

This position will be responsible for working with the Manager Advancement Services and the Administrative Coordinator to implement a plan for archiving the Foundations records. This will involve moving and organizing physical material as well as creating electronic filing systems for confidential records. In addition to this the position will be tasked with supporting the Foundation in other administrative activities such as database clean up.

As part of the Mohawk College Access Strategy, City School by Mohawk brings the college to the community by offering free college programming in community locations throughout Hamilton and surrounding community. Locations include the Eva Rothwell Centre, Hamilton Public Library, Mobile Classroom, and other partner organizations.

The Administrative Assistant position will support full-time staff with front-line customer service by fielding phone and email inquiries, collecting applicant data and processing student registrations among other tasks.

Provide administration support for the Public Affairs and Communication team in the President's office.

The student will assist the Admissions Advisors to file documents, participate in call campaigns, prepare student packages, other clerical duties.

In addition to basic office duties, the Apprenticeship Events and Customer Service Ambassador will assist students, staff and the community by phone, email and in person by answering questions regarding the use of the Gathering Place Stoney Creek, as well as informing them about upcoming events and programs happening in the space.

The Apprenticeship Events and Customer Service Ambassador will assist full-time staff with new projects to improve the student experience for Apprenticeship and Post-Secondary Students as they arise. The incumbent will also assist in ensuring that the Gathering Place remains a safe space for all students, but especially pertaining to Indigenous, International, and Social Inclusion programming that may be taking place in the space.

This position involves assisting staff members with daily activities in labs related to the biotechnology program. Duties may include preparation of stock lab reagents, media preparation and stock culture preparation. Additional duties may include assisting faculty members with the commissioning of new lab equipment and/or development of lab protocols for biotech related labs or research initiatives.
