Provide student perspective on the implementation. Collaborate with staff on pilot project. Build online resources
Work closely with the MSA Marketing department to integrate MSA marketing campaigns and initiatives
Assist in maintaining the MSA's on campus digital signage and print signage networks;
Assist in planning of events and activities for students
Set-up and tear-down for events including common hours, pubs, concerts, fairs, speaker's series, etc.
Engaging and assisting students to take part in activities
Marketing MSA services and events through ticket sales, information booths, etc.
Other duties as assigned.
Support the Marketing Department with regards to advertisements for Special Events, services, and MSA businesses, including posters, digital advertisements, web site banners and other promotional material.
Provide services for the MSA Board of Directors for initiatives specific to each position, including, but not limited to:
Class Representative Program
Individualized campaigns (composting program, charity events, etc)
Participation in activities and events as required.
The successful candidate will be organized, approachable and able to work independently and within a team. Familiarity with MS Office applications and Google applications are an asset. This is a great opportunity for students currently enrolled in the CICE or Career Pathways Programs
Assisting with the development and creation of a talk radio show.
Surfacing leads and coordinating or scheduling stories and interviews , Research, write, edit, content for radio talk show
Plan and fill program time each week by working in advance to build an inventory, Assist with the production format
Collaborate with production team
Produce and promote on line content on social media platforms
Must demonstrate excellent journalism, and communications skill-sets

Help create, plan and implement effective volunteer opportunities for students
Occasional facilitation of volunteer events at community organizations
Marketing and promotion of Campus to Community throughout the college (hallway booths, etc.)
Photocopying, scanning and filing
Student Engagement/CCR support
Assist landlords and students with Off-Campus Housing
Offer a student perspective on content and programming for Mohawk Off-Campus Housing Society
Drop off documents throughout campus (accounting, payroll, HR)
Assist with posting Volunteer Opportunities/Bi-Weekly Newsletter/ Monitor Volunteer Calendar
Write, record, edit, produce videos
Complete a maximum of 15 event/office hours per wee k. Assist the Social Inc. Facilitator with event execution as assigned. Organize and implement Social Inc. events and initiatives in coordination with the Social Inc. team.
Engage the Mohawk College Community, with a focus on students and staff, while supporting Social Inc. initiatives. Monitor Mohawks Positive Space (G112) called Social Inc. and intervene negative behaviors that oppose Social Inc.s code of conduct.
Work in coordination with Social Inc. Facilitator in the overall operation of Social Inclusion as deemed appropriate.
Aspire toward erasing hate rooted in oppression and replacing with respect rooted in inclusion.
